Vicki and Manfred’s  MUMMY PARLOUR

We turned the Garage into a MUMMY PARLOUR. When we all arrived at the Spook House with torches in hand, Manfred opened the door by remote to reveal this table with DRACULA BLOOD (Red Champagne) as a welcome drink. I served Witch’s Fingers and Baked Spiders with the drinks.

No one knew what was waiting for them behind the black curtain in the garage. We asked who was brave? Monika was our first victim. We told her to beware of the mangy cat which she could pet if she was careful. Everyone on this side of the curtain could hear her laughing and a cat’s MEOW which turned into a MEOW FIT. We were all laughing. They all became so curious that suddenly everyone wanted to go behind the curtain at once!

The cat meows a sweet and harmless meow when you pet its head. If you pet it again, it jerks towards you and goes into a loud meow fit while its  eyes light up. We had lots of fun with the cat!

Waltraud was the first to ask how many rolls of toilet paper I used to wrap up the mummy. TWO in case you’re wondering. The mummy is lying on top of my “laundry rack” covered with a blanket. The pictures on the walls are see through foil (cheap to buy at Halloween shops). The eerie RED LIGHT is provided by Gerd’s RED STAGE FOIL (used for professional stage-lighting), Manfred’s handywork.
