Steve is just as interesting a person to meet as his partner, Carl. He seems to be the intellectual with a heart for animals, especially black poodles and a good sense of humor.
Vicki’s April Fool’s Day Poodle Research Project
One thing that I had in common with Steve was that we both shared the same employer, Brown-Foreman, Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky. I left this world reknown company 18 years ago to start a new life in Germany, and what a coincidence to find out that we had some common acquaintances involved. Of course, the acquaintance involved black poodles and poodle-lover Fran, and this gave us a good reason for an April Fool’s Day joke. Steve was so hospitable and gave us a tour of the company which was interesting for Manfred to see where I spent my time back in my single days when he swept me off to Germany. It was great for me seeing the old stomping grounds and brought back many good memories of working for this elegant company. Steve is definitely a valued employee and makes a huge contribution to the company.
