Garden Tool Shed transformation to Witch’s House

This was a favorite project.  At Christmas time I made a Gingerbread House out of the shed with a Hansel and Gretel doll added to the scene. Since I had all the windows, shutters and fence from a decor company, all I had to do was make a new window for the witch’s house using an old window that I found in the trash and add some spiders and webs, make a straw roof and add a few accessories to complete the Halloween scene using the same witch. The only thing missing is a door which I’ll make for next year. Children asked how she gets into her house. Good question!

I put a rubber snake, a spider, some bugs and a frog in her basket. All ingredients for her next brew that she just bought on her shopping spree.

Manfred mounted this electric lantern that I got at a flea market and  added a red bulb for instant eerie effect. I decked it out with spider webs and spiders.

I got this window from the trash, painted it brown and painted a cat and spider with web on the glass, added some curtains and ready to hang up.
